About Buddy Cruise Buddy Cruise Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 2008 by 2 siblings in honor of their brother who has Down syndrome. Our annual conference at sea is a unique event with something for all ages and abilities. Presenters address a wide range of disability related topics during interactive workshops. Our events are supportive of families touched by all a disabilities. Buddy Cruise sets sail every October. Mission To provide educational opportunities and resources for families, while promoting awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome and Developmental Delay through unique venues. Buddy Cruise is to call 877-239-2789. Mission The mission of Buddy Cruise goes beyond sailing the seas! It involves outreach efforts on land. Below find our additional programs. We hope you will join us on land or at sea! Individuals and families who represent and assist our organization by taking our mission of advocacy, awareness and education into their local communities. We collect and donate supplies, materials and/or equipment to an organization serving individuals with disabilities, typically in one of the ports that we visit during our annual conference.
