Welcome to Buckshot Liquidations! We are Mike and Michell Bass. Before starting Buckshot Liquidations, we worked as firefighters in Lake County, Florida. (In fact, we got engaged at the fire station!) We had seven kids and life was always moving at full throttle. When we finally retired after 60 years of combined service, we traveled for a while . . . and spent a lot of money! But we also wanted something to keep us busy. We always enjoyed meeting new people, so we decided to start a business of our own. One day we heard about a business that sold wholesale liquidated merchandise straight from the truck. We were intrigued, and thought reselling merchandise might be a fun part-time business. So we bought a single pallet and re-sold it for a profit. Then we came back for more. And more. We found reselling merchandise to be fun as well as profitable. It’s also interesting, because you never know what’s coming off the truck. It could be sporting goods, appliances, furniture. Some of the merchandise needs repair, much of it is new and in the box. Every day is like Christmas morning in this business. We bought our first pallet at the end of 2015. We had so much fun that we approached the owners of W&W Liquidations and offered to buy the business! Today we love the opportunity to provide our customers with great merchandise at unbeatable prices. We create opportunities for small resellers, flea market vendors, thrift stores, auction houses, and people who resell merchandise online on eBay, Amazon and local classifieds. One of the interesting things about pallet sales is that you never know exactly what’s in the pallet. Everything is sold as-is. We get two truck-loads each week, and what we get is what we sell. We don’t cherry pick the merchandise. Because our pallets are shrink wrapped, it gives our buyers the opportunity to do some homework based on what they see on the outside. If there are enough visible items to make the pallet a good deal, everything else inside is where the profit comes from. You just never know. And while much of our merchandise is new and in the original packaging, there are no guarantees in this business. That’s just part of the strategy. Good resellers learn their business and understand their niche. We’ve grown our business based on trust and good service. We have regulars who come every week from around central Florida and even southern Georgia because they know the kind of business we operate. We’ve studied the market, and we aim to do it right. I appreciate ur post but when I came up u didn't have alotcof good palletts mostly heaters here in fla can't sell in in Tampa just wasn't no money makers I was hoping u could be my main source cause we need a truckload of mixed merchandise u had mostly winter palletts if u come across a better variety truckload I'll take it I'm in Tampa u would save me lot of money on shipping I can come get it no prob just need better stuff I sell at fleamarkets auction house so for I stick mh neck out sell at 3-4 auction I gotta have plenty product I'm getting a store warehouse so 2-4 trucks MTh a start
