BAG Mission Statement: Believing that art is vital to a thriving community, the Broward Art Guild's mission is to create opportunities for visual artists to grow professionally and expand audiences for their art. About the Broward Art Guild The Broward Art Guild is the oldest and largest organization of working artists in Broward County. Formed in the late 1940's, originally as a branch of the American Artists Professional League, the Guild later evolved into an independent, not-for-profit organization. As a community-based, predominantly volunteer-run organization, we are always looking for people who want to get involved in supporting the arts. We have many opportunities available for those who want to get involved, and welcome ideas for creating new artistic programs. The Broward Art Guild Board of Directors are elected by the membership. The nomination process takes place during March and April and the voting is done at the Annual Membership Meeting held in May. Award winning photographer, Brooke Trace is best known for her nature landscape images. Ms. Trace is the owner of North Beach Art Gallery and has been a Gallery owner for over 18 years. She attended Florida Atlantic University majoring in business and minored in photography. She graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale earning an Associate of Arts degree. Her work experience includes but is not limited to, Art Coordinator for Art Finds International and Custom Frame shop Manager for Ritz Camera Centers. Her works have been on public display in Fort Lauderdale City Hall and Pompano Beach Air Park Lobby as well as participation in art & international marine shows, Boca Raton Museum of Art Festival, Las Olas 30 th Annual Art Festival. Brooke has also been commissioned by private and corporate collectors and published in magazines both commercially and for her fine art photography including Go Riverwalk "Artist Profile" 2016. The Broward Art Guild, is the largest non-profit organization of working artists and supporters in Broward County, Florida. The Broward Art Guild offers the community a variety of Membership is open to all working artists, hobbyists, collectors, students and businesses.
