Bright Brown work in partnership with our clients to deliver an extensive range of value for money professional services tailored to the needs of any individual or business client. We pride ourselves on delivering these services promptly and efficiently. Clients pay only for the services they require and we can offer fixed fee prices agreed in advance. All of Bright Brown’s clients have their own personal account manager who provides a single point of contact to listen to the needs of each client and to deliver a tailored range of accountancy services to meet those needs. This single point of contact enables account managers to respond quickly to any changing client requirements. Bright Brown have invested heavily in a state of the art IT infrastructure to process and protect client’s data, confidentially and securely. Both HM Revenue & Customs and Companies House have endorsed and accredited the software that Bright Brown use. As such, Bright Brown are able to securely exchange documents electronically with clients, as well as file accounts, tax returns and forms electronically with HM Revenue & Customs and Companies House. Bright Brown have further invested in developing an IT capability for video conferencing. This capability enables all clients to have a face to face conversation at a time of their choosing and convenience. Natasha joined Bright Brown in 2013 having obtained a double A level award in Business Studies and an A level in ICT. Following this, Natasha worked for a firm of Chartered Accountants before relocating to the Island and joining us. Natasha is now studying towards the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification at the Isle of Wight College and has a varied workload consisting of preparing accounts, undertaking book-keeping work for clients, preparing payrolls, preparing VAT returns and preparing management accounts. Simon joined Bright Brown in 2013 having graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Accounting with Finance. Simon’s degree has been directed towards the more technical aspects of accountancy and he will now spend a year gaining practical experience before commencing training towards the Chartered Accountancy qualification. Simon’s work in the office is focussed on audit, accounts preparation and taxation. Sheryl joined the firm in 2006 after qualifying as a book-keeper at the Isle of Wight College. Since then, Sheryl has qualified as an Accounting Technician and is one of our most enthusiastic team members. Sheryl prepares accounts for a variety of clients and also undertakes book-keeping work and prepares VAT returns. Hayley graduated in 2013 from Loughborough University with a degree in Mathematics, Accountancy and Financial Management as well as gaining the Employability Award. Before joining the firm Hayley worked for a recruitment agency processing payroll, carrying out VAT work and dealing with purchase ledger queries. Hayley started training to become a chartered accountant before joining the firm, and her training has been supported since joining us. In the office Hayley prepares accounts and tax returns for a wide range of clients. Darren joined the firm in 2014 after achieving A levels in Physics, Maths and a BTEC in Computing. Darren recently trained at the Isle of Wight College towards the Association of Accounts Technicians qualification and has now successfully qualified.  Darren’s role in the office mainly involves preparing end of year accounts for a variety of clients. Kate joined the firm in 2014 with A levels in business studies, Economics and English Language as well as the extended project qualification. Since joining Kate passed her Association of Accounting Technicians qualification in 2016 and is now started training to become a chartered accountant. Her role in the office is to prepare year accounts for a number of our clients. Corinne worked in sales & marketing administration in Canada and the United States before moving to the UK. She was introduced to bookkeeping whilst setting up the accounts function for a small company and enjoyed it so much that she began studying for the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification at the Isle of Wight College and has now successfully qualified.  Connor joined the firm in 2016 with A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.  On leaving school he initially worked as a wood machinist for a local company.  He is now working towards his Association of Accounting Technicians qualification. At work he prepares accounts and VAT returns for a variety of clients. As well as studying, Connor finds time to help out as an assistant beaver scout leader in his spare time. Lucy joined the firm in 2016 after achieving A levels in Business and Law. She is currently working towards her Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.  At work she prepares accounts and VAT returns for a wide range of clients. Tom joined the firm in 2017 with a BA Honours in Finance and Accounting from Winchester University. He will be spending his first year getting a good handle on accounts preparation before starting his chartered training in 2018.
