In 2010, the London Group was retained by the San Diego Regional Economic Corporation to conduct an economic impact and activity analysis of Bridgepoint Education within the San Diego region. The main focus of the analysis was to detail, quantify, and qualify the estimated impacts of Bridgepoint Education doing business within San Diego in terms of numbers of jobs created, value added to the regional GDP, and employee earnings. The Clinton Regional Development Corporation and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce retained the London Group to conduct an economic activity analysis of Ashford University within the state of Iowa. Business output, such as jobs, employee earnings, and total value added to the state GDP were estimated as well as a broader measure of the economic contribution from Ashford University.
