Welcome to my site, for all things Brian Howe. This year we will be back on the road, performing both here in the United States and overseas. Work continues on the studio album and we have a few other surprises in store...new material and new projects that will be announced as the year unfurls. Brian will be back on the road in 2018...new dates have just been added to the calendar, starting with shows in January. We are truly grateful to the presenters and promoters who have graciously moved their upcoming shows in to the New Year. Brian will be back in rehearsals soon...he is anxious to get back to playing with the band and playing shows. We regret to announce the upcoming tour of Europe with Brian Howe has been cancelled. Brian, a long-time resident of South West Florida, is among the hundreds of thousands of people affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, a category 4 hurricane that made landfall just south of the town Brian calls home. His home sustained damage and, for a period of time, he was evacuated to a safer location. Ten days after the storm passed there are areas of the community still without power, safe drinking water, businesses remain closed and many of the day to day services we take for granted are presently not available. It should be noted there were many challenges leading up to the start of this tour and, in spite of what we perceive as poor communication and gross assumptions by Mr. Wijsman and his team, in good faith we purchased airline tickets and made all the necessary preparations to fulfill the dates that had been booked. We informed our US agent Brian would not be available to play shows in the United States during the same time period, resulting in substantial financial losses. We were never provided with contracts, a detailed budget, any specific venue or promoter information and, in spite of our request, no deposit was forthcoming. Even though the agency had failed to respond to our repeated requests in what we believe to be a satisfactory manner, Brian remained resolute that the tour would proceed. It was only after the hurricane came through that it became an impossibility to fulfill the current schedule and it was at that time we requested the dates be rescheduled. We have not been provided any information regarding ticket refunds, so we suggest you contact the specific venue or direct your questions to DW Bookings. This tour will feature both classic Bad Company hits and songs from Brian's solo catalog including, of course, the latest single that is building momentum around the globe. We have to announce the promoter of the April 16 show in Gainesville, WOW 104.9FM, has had to cancel the event, citing issues with the venue not being ready in time for the concert. The Bo Diddley Plaza, operated by the City of Gainesville, has been undergoing renovations for the past year and, when completed, will be a center for great concerts and events in the market.
