I can honestly say my experience with Breaking Ground Studios was the greatest I've ever had in my music career. James is a great engineer and musician. His patience with all of my artists and myself was beyond helpful. I am greatful to have James and Breaking Ground Studios as a part of my music career, and would recommend them as number one on my list of professional studios. If your'e looking for professionalism and top quality for your music at a hard to beat price, I recommend this place. No long drive to Orlando either :). He gets in, lets you do your thing, and gets the best of what you've done. He may add his own touch, if you're not certain of what you're looking to hear, but when its all said and done it will be everything you set out to accomplish and more. Breaking Ground Studios has got my business as long as I'm a resident of Lake County. If you're a serious artist, this is the spot for you. James was able to shape my field recordings into works of art. His knowledge of sound is powered by his enthusiasm for producing incredible work, creating a powerful force. The quality of his productions, and the amount of detail he puts into soundcrafting is unrivaled. I give this studio a five star rating. The production and editing is phenomenal. Pricing is on point, and James is very easy to work with when it comes down to finding your sound. If I could only use one word to describe James and Breaking Ground Studios it would be professional. Even though the timeframe for making my film's music was moved up considerably (from a month to a week), he still delivered on time with a solid product. I can't say enough about his commitment to the craft. If you need a studio and/or audio engineer, he's the guy to call.
