I have been using the Reading Log Cabin for a few months now. It is by far the easiest way to keep track of my childrens' reading logs. I love that they can rate the books they have read and that they can make notes about what they have read as well. The fact that it totals the amount of minutes read each month helps to challenge the kids to beat their previous month. My son uses the app all by himself and he is just a Kindergartener. It was very easy to set up and teach my little guy how to use it. He loves recording himself read and attaching it to his reading entries. It has really helped his fluency! I love the Reading Log Cabin app! It is so useful and helpful. The sharing feature makes my life as a parent so much easier. No more losing the reading logs or making sure it gets in their backpacks. My kids love it too! Now they are excited to fill out their reading logs! My students and parents LOVE the Reading Log Cabin app! It is easy to use and engaging. My students love the feature where they can scan the barcode on a book which saves time compared to hand written reading logs. I love that my families email me their child's reading log and I can provide written feedback via email. My students love to send me photos of their favorite pages and even video themselves reading. I highly recommend this app for teachers, students & parents!
