My wife and I are Atlanta transplants. We fell in love with 30A and the community years ago on vacation with my wife's family. Since then, we made several more trips, and with each visit we were making it a point to stay longer. We were happy that we could bring our dog with us since this community celebrates & embraces pets. However, we were unable to find our dog's brand of food or even a pet shop on 30A which is how Bow Wow Meow Pet Company came about, but more on that later... We became more interested in exactly what we were feeding our dog. Buddy is our rescue dog and had problems now and then with digesting the food we fed him. So, for several years we tried different products to no avail. After consulting with our Veterinarian & neighbors with dogs we found that the best food for our dog would require a more hands on approach. So with research and a few suggestions, we were able to provide our dog with healthier holistic food & treats. It was a little bit more expensive, but as Buddy is a part of our family it was worth the additional expense as well as his happiness. We wanted to share our experience with the community of 30A. So, in the fall of 2010 we grabbed our dog, packed up our home in Atlanta and decided to move permanently to Santa Rosa Beach and open up the first pet shop on 30A, Bow Wow Meow Pet Company.
