Bountiful Plants is a branch of an established second-generation family-run greenhouse business started in 1962. The nursery produces a full line of young plants for the greenhouse industry, producing over 150 million plugs and liners using over 700,000 square feet of high-tech greenhouses. The nursery takes advantage of the Central Florida sun to provide customers a nutrient-packed plant with a healthy root system. With Bountiful Plants we are able to sell plug plants in smaller volumes so that nurseries and other growers have the opportunity to buy the quality of plants that commercial buyers usually have. With over 5000 varieties of plants, from Alyssum to Zinnia, we aim to be YOUR top plant plug supplier! Bountiful Plants founder, Mitch has been working with the nursery for many years, offering plant plugs for sale on Ebay during the busy season. He has established a following of customers who buy plant plugs that are “ready to sell” and are limited to what is available. With the Bountiful Plants online store we are now able to “pre-sell” almost any kind of bedding plant since we are not limited to available inventory. At most commercial nurseries, the general public would have to go through a broker to buy wholesale plug plants, but here at Bountiful Plants you can order in smaller quantities and up to as many trays as you need.         Plug plants are young plants grown in polystyrene trays with small, individual cells filled with a peat substrate and are ready to be transplanted into containers or a garden. Professionally raised plants in controlled conditions during their important formative period can help to ensure plant health and to reach their maximum potential during the harvest/blooming period.
