As president of Boston Software Systems, Sara is responsible for the strategic direction of the Company. She has worked in the medical software industry for 25 years at Boston Software Systems. Prior to founding Boston Software Systems, Sara's career was focused on product development, management and marketing in the consumer products industry. She was director of US marketing for a division of Bausch and Lomb and she worked for Gillette where she developed, launched and managed national brands. Sara earned a BA in Chemistry at Mount Holyoke College, a MS in Medicinal Chemistry from Northeastern University, and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. As chief information officer, Rich is responsible for the vision and future direction of Boston Software Systems’ technology and products. He has been developing medical software since 1980 and has been the critical driver for the Company’s easy-to-use, agile software design. Prior to founding Boston Software Systems and its predecessor companies, Rich was a consultant at Temple, Barker and Sloan, a provider of management consulting for a variety of industries. Rich is a nuclear engineer and served four years in the Navy as an officer aboard nuclear submarines. He graduated with a BA in Physics from Dartmouth College and earned an MBA at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. As chief operating officer, Steve is responsible for the operational excellence of Boston Software Systems. He oversees the general operational practices of the company. Throughout his career in the healthcare IT industry, Steve has held a number of sales and business development positions. Previously, Steve served as director of healthcare channel sales for Sybase.
