Suzanne received her undergraduate degree in Art History and English with Highest Honors from Douglass College, receiving a Metropolitan Museum of Art Undergraduate Internship award among others. After finishing college, she worked for several Wall Street firms and formed her own marketing and technical writing consultancy, which served clients including PaineWebber, Citibank, and other elite firms. Leaving the corporate world to pursue one of her first loves, creative writing, Suzanne received her MFA degree in Writing from the prestigious Columbia University School of the Arts, winning a Writing Fellowship, an Academy of American Poets Prize, and the Benjamin Burns prize among other awards. After graduating from the program, Suzanne became the School of the Arts' first centralized admission director, managing the evaluation of and response to over 1,500 applications annually in the fields of film, theater, writing and visual arts.
