Books for Collier Kids, Inc., founded in 2005 as First Book-Collier County, is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing literacy by ensuring access to new books for children living in poverty in Collier County, Florida. Over the span of more than two decades, the organization boasts an impressive achievement: distributing one million books, with 100,000 books currently distributed annually to approximately 7,400 disadvantaged children from pre-K through second grade.
