When business grew large enough, Brad asked his most trusted friend, Todd McConnell, to move across the country to manage Bogart Construction’s operations. Brad Bogart, President of Bogart Construction and Todd McConnell, Bogart Construction’s Director of Operations, grew up together in Oklahoma. Their dads were business partners, and the boys instantly grew to be best friends – spending every minute they could outdoors, camping and fishing. When it was time to head off to college, they went together –each earning degrees from the University of Oklahoma, Todd’s in Construction Management, and Brad’s in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Construction Management. Today both Brad and Todd have more than 20 years of hands-on and managerial retail construction experience. It takes character to keep a friendship and business partnership alive over two generations and 40 years. Over the past decade, Bogart Construction has become a premier general contractor in the retail construction industry.
