After suffering for over a decade with severe Crohn’s Disease and every side effect that came with it, I learned that eating healthy is not enough. Being so sick helped me tune in to my body and the triggers that made me even sicker than I already was. I spent a lot of time in hospitals, and as great as the doctors were and advanced as the medicines promised to be, I knew this path wouldn’t lead me to good health. This is where Bodhi’s Brew came in, even though it didn’t have a name at the time. As I grew into my adult years, I found health and peace. My family began to blossom and the importance of keeping a mindful home grew exponentially. I began to experiment and make everything. I didn’t trust the big companies to protect or provide mindful products good enough for my children…I had to do it! I would do everything in my power to create an uncontaminated home for my family to live in and spare them from living the awful, sick life I did. There is more to that equation, but I do what I can.
