With an education in Horticultural Studies, Robert began his adult career with Spring Hill Nursery in Apopka, FL. With that experience, he started Higher Power Lawn Care in 2000 to provide maintenance, irrigation, and custom landscape design services to a larger clientele. Three years later, Robert joined forces with childhood friend Colin Kirkwood and became the Director of Operations for Better Lawns and Garden, with over 120 residential and commercial clients. In 2006, the partners sold their Better Lawns and Garden lawn maintenance division and Robert formed BLG Environmental Services to focus solely on providing landscape, hardscape, and irrigation design services. As a principal in BLG, Robert focuses on building relationships with his clients and project teams to ensure that every project exceeds expectation. He can often be found visiting sites and is available for consultation throughout the project lifecycle. What do you like about running your own a landscape business?
