Bishop Grady Villas, Inc., established in 2004 and located at 401 Bishop Grady Ct., St. Cloud, FL, is a Christ-centered, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities across Central Florida. It was envisioned by Sr. Elizabeth Marie Stoup, SSJ, to provide a residential community where adults with intellectual disabilities could live as independently as possible while receiving comprehensive support. Operating under the mission of empowering these individuals to harness their God-given talents for greater independence and spiritual growth, Bishop Grady Villas offers personalized service encompassing residential, vocational, and employment supports. It is licensed by the State of Florida as an Assisted Living Facility (License # AL10398) effective December 26, 2017, and also registered as a Homemaker & Companion Services provider with Registration # 230467. The organization's historical roots are deeply connected to its Catholic mission, reflecting the values shared with the Diocese of Orlando under leadership transitions including Bishop Norbert Dorsey. Over nearly two decades, Bishop Grady Villas has expanded its services to include Employment Services since 2008, assisting jobseekers in attaining and maintaining competitive employment. Kevin C Johnson, Executive Director since 2008, recognized for his significant contributions to the growth of non-profit organizations, continues to advance this mission. Bishop Grady Villas has become one of Central Florida’s largest nonprofit providers, offering holistic care through community support, vocational guidance, and spiritual outreach rooted in its Catholic identity. The organization prides itself on fostering a supportive environment where residents, staff, and the broader community share blessings of friendship and empowerment.
