My first book, Making Room: Doing Less So God Can Do More, explores practical, effective ways to troubleshoot spiritual stagnation, including heart evaluation, discovering God’s Will and impacting others. I’m Billie Jauss, a Jesus-loving and outgoing Southern girl by birth. I spend my time writing, speaking, watching baseball games and sitting on the beach. I’ve had hurts and hang-ups but rely on Jesus every day to carry me through. I am embracing the immeasurably more that God desires in my life and my marriage. My life’s passion has been to help others. Beginning at age eleven, I was a candy striper at our local hospital in Tarboro, North Carolina, then a nursing assistant at a local nursing home. I attended nursing school to work toward the one career I knew I always desired. I worked as a nurse for the first few years of marriage in an Intensive Care Unit.
