COMPANY INFORMATION Big Apple Pet Supply, Inc. began in New York City in 1993 as Big Apple Herpetological when Jurassic Park was the blockbuster summer movie and everyone seemed to be purchasing reptiles as pets. We, too, found ourselves falling in love with these wonderful creatures. We wanted the very best for our reptiles, but we found it difficult to find quality supplies and expert advice on how to care for the animals we so loved. After completing exhaustive amounts of research on how to care for reptiles properly, we gained the knowledge we needed to take care of our pets. We decided then that we would share and provide others with the knowledge we acquired of the herpetological field. Our love of reptiles is equal to our love of cats and dogs, and we now carry complete lines of dog and cat grooming products, medications, toys, treats and more! Today, Big Apple Pet Supply, Inc. is a retailer and manufacturer of high quality reptile, aquarium, dog and cat supplies. We service customers all over the world including - but not limited to - museums, zoos, and educational institutions. A wrong street number, missing suite or apartment number or incorrect zip code may cause your package to be undeliverable. In addition, UPS charges an address correction fee which will be automatically charged to your credit card on file at $14 a box. You will receive an invoice via email if these charges have been applied to your account. Due to customs and regulations we are unable to ship live pets, live feeders and frozen feeders internationally. Some items such as glass aquariums are also unable to ship internationally. Some product warranties do not provide coverage outside of the U.S., and some products may not be exported under any circumstances due to manufacturer's restrictions or U.S. law. Big Apple Pet Supply makes no representations regarding warranty coverage, compatibility or serviceability for products that are used outside the U.S. Our minimum product order for delivery into Canada is $100.00. Our minimum live reptile order (due to extensive permits required) is $6,000. Orders placed for delivery to Canada can use a credit card but must have their orders shipped to the billing address of their credit card. We are sorry we are unable to accept PayPal payments for Canadian orders. We offer Free Shipping on most product orders $49 and over and live animal orders $299 or over. Almost all of our products are eligible, with the few exceptions being live/frozen feeders and certain heavy/large items.
