BGA Media Group was founded originally as BGA New Media, in 1995, by Kevin B. Small. During the dot.com boom, Small created a boutique marketing and interactive agency, headquartered in New York City, specializing in launch tactics for startup companies. Working with a spectrum of investment banks, venture capitalists, and advertising agencies, BGA was awarded projects with notable initial launch companies including JetBlue, CareerBuilder.com, Gorp.com, RocketMail.com. In 1998, working with TECHmarketing, BGA created the web identity for iBreakfast.com, a networking (pre-social networking) conference series for digital innovators and entrepreneurs, hosting some of the biggest names in dot.com. In 2000, BGA opened a satellite office in Miami, responding to the rise in demand for web and interactive services for real-estate pre-construction marketing and sales. Working with industry leading real estate developers, including Related Group, Turnberry and WCI on South Florida’s highest profile projects, BGA helped take condominium marketing to a Hollywood production-value standard. With the condominium boom peaking, in 2003, Small hibernated BGA to pursue real-estate marketing full time. From 2003-2008, he served in a marketing and new business development capacity with several real estate industry marketing and adverting service providers including Alpha Vision and Posner Advertising. Today, Small has re-engineered BGA with a mission focus on digital marketing, interactive strategy and technology outsourcing.
