The Bethesda Hospital Foundation, through the generous philanthropy of our community, is proud to support Bethesda Hospital and quality, not-for-profit healthcare in Palm Beach County. Most recently, our fundraising efforts are focused on the transformative tech­nology at the Bethesda Heart Hospital with the launch of the Structural Heart Program. This innovative program includes the addition of procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and a new, specialized hybrid operating room suite that is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology. This is an exciting time in health­care as cardiovascular surgeons and interventional cardiologists are trans­forming the way they care for patients. New and improved minimally invasive techniques, combined with cutting-edge technology, are helping them achieve even better outcomes. Bethesda’s Structural Heart Program allows our physicians to treat aortic stenosis, mitral valve regurgitation and other vascular diseases in new ways; and the new hybrid operating room also benefits other imaging-dependent procedures and specialties, including vascular surgery and neurosurgery.
