I fell in love with everything about Florida. Fishing, golf, learning to dive – you name it. I decided to attend Florida State University, in spite of my older sister’s allegiance to the University of Florida Gators. But did keep the tradition of becoming apart of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, and later President of my college Chapter. I graduated from FSU in 1979 with a B.S. After marriage to my college sweet heart did not work out, I moved to Dallas, Texas to start a new career with IBM. The opportunities I had with IBM and later, EDS (now HP) in high-end computer sales and management shaped my professional career. I remained in the information technology business traveling around the world for major corporations for 22 years. In 2004 I moved to back to my beloved Florida, here to Ponte Vedra Beach from Greenwich, Connecticut to be close to my father, after my mother had recently passed away from ovarian cancer. It was the best move I ever made. This picture of my Dad and I was taken after just finishing a buzz around Jacksonville from Cecil Field in an old B-17, he absolutely loved it, and so did I. In 2005 I decided to make a career shift to real estate here full time. I felt my technology and marketing background combined with my focus on consultative sales and data analysis would work well in an industry just starting to embrace the online world. In the end I’ve learned, whether you are selling multimillion-dollar computers systems or a multimillion-dollar homes, it is still all about listening to your customer and making sure their requirements are met in the most satisfactory way. I enjoy sharing with my customers: buyers, sellers and investors, my insights on the real estate market, the culture and local businesses in our area. I a , having served on boards and committees that focus our fund raising efforts on our local citizens and local institutions, like Mayo Clinic Jacksonville and the Baptist Beaches Medical Center. And yes, when I get time, I enjoy sneaking out to play golf at Sawgrass to “chip away” at my higher than I want handicap. We live in an absolutely wonderful ‘slice of heaven’ here…I welcome the opportunity to help people find their perfect spot too.
