I grew up just outside of Tallahassee in the bedroom community of Havana Florida and now reside in the city of Quincy. I attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelors Degree from the Warrington College of Business with a major in Finance.
I started my appraisal career with a firm in the Jacksonville Florida area by the name of Weigel-Veasey Appraisers. I worked for WV for about 2 and 1/2 years and then decided to return home and take a job with Tallahassee appraisal firm Northridge Appraisal Company. I appraised property for Northridge for over eight years and this is where I gained extensive knowledge of our great coastal market known as “The Forgotten Coast”. This area includes roughly Wakulla County to the east all the way to Port St. Joe/Mexico Beach on the west. In 2012 I made one of the best decisions of my life to start my own appraisal company, Bert Appraisal Group. My office is located in Quincy and I provide appraisal services in the greater Tallahassee area including the coastal market of Franklin, Wakulla and Gulf Counties.
In addition to real estate appraising, I also assist buyers and sellers on a regular basis. My primary focus for real estate sales is in Havana and Gadsden County. I have been involved in multiple sales transactions in Havana and Quincy.
