I was blessed with working with Robin and Bernie Packo. They helped me from the beginning to the end. Through the good and the bad. They became family to us,even after I close on my home, I would love to keep a close friendship with them. At no time did I feel uncomfortable. When I was nervous they calmed me. When we started our house hunting wr were still in Illinois. It was so stressful. When we found Bernie things seemed to get a little easier. Even though we were in another state he still gave us his full attention. When we finally got here and met Bernie it seemed like we knew him our whole life. When the closing of the house kept got a little stressful he was there hands on to help us with whatever we needed. Once we closed on the house and a few issues came him and his wife were still willing to help us. I would say that Bernie became the first friend we made here in Florida. I would and have recommended him to everyone I know or don't know who is looking to buy a house. closer to us in order to properly care for her in her elder years (91 years old) because she was living in Tallahassee and we live on Vilano beach so we started looking at properties just across the Vilano bridge. We would zig zag through the neighborhoods daily waiting for something to come open. That's when we saw one of Bernie and Robins signs on a nice looking home in the Nelmar neighborhood.  We called Bernie and told him we were interested in the property. He responded immediately and we met to see the inside of the house. It turned out that it was a bank owned "as is" sale, but he did not flinch in telling us what he thought we should give attention to should we make the the move. He was patient in waiting for us to bring my Mother over to see the house. Well, we made the move. I didn't use a closing agent, Bernie helped me with all that, again patient with my nervousness and lack of knowledge in making this closing. He held my hand through the whole thing. After we closed, he met me at the house to hand over the keys and with a smile on his face, he said "In a year you're gonna love me." In the last year home prices in that area soared. The value of the property has most likely doubled. I wouldn't hesitate to let Bernie and Robin handle our real estate needs in the future.  . We understand how daunting the thought might be.
