Mr. Benkert is a Colorado licensed Real Estate Broker serving clients in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Benkert Realty represents residential home buyers and sellers as well as commercial real estate clients, and provides rental property management services. Prior to entering the real estate brokerage business, Mr. Benkert practiced law for 25 years and earned a reputation for his handling of difficult and complex matters. His national practice included representation of corporate and individual clients in transactional, real estate, land use, regulatory and general business law matters. He initially obtained his real estate license to enjoy more flexibility in his time commitments as a single parent, but enjoys assisting people with the largest and most important transactions they are likely to enter into; the purchase or sale of their home. Mr. Benkert continues his law practice on a limited basis, and volunteers as CEO of a Colorado charitable non-profit corporation. Mr. Benkert served as a Senior Fellow, Information Law and Policy, with the Center for the New West; was principally involved in the founding of the Rocky Mountain Home-Based Business Association, and was a member of the Colorado Telecommuting Action Committee. Mr. Benkert has been a biographee in Who's Who in American Law since 1990, and was the Rocky Mountain Home-Based Business Association's 1994 Outstanding Friend of Home Based Business. Mr. Benkert brings to his the real estate business the same rigor, discipline and commitment to client service for which he has been known in his legal practice.
