About Us - Bead Lovers Korner A long long time ago, in a house not far away Bead Lovers Korner was created. It was a crazy idea that I put into action, and have nurtured over the years, to bring interesting and unique items all into one place. Why beads and jewelry? Well why not? Beads have been around for thousands of years, people have used beads and jewelry to signify status, special occasions, for worship and decoration. Just about anything you can imagine can be created from beads.... from simple earrings to elaborate body jewelry or household decor. I scour the planet to find unusual beads and jewelry findings of high quality for use in fashion and design. Bead Lovers Korner LLC is solely owned and operated, if you support small independent companies, then you have come to the right place! I have always been a little creative, experimenting with different crafts throughout my life, but I was most interested in beading, ceramics, painting (by number of course, I am NOT that talented) and music. I graduated from school and then got busy working, being a mom, wife, etc. I was in the paper and publishing business for over 20 years, dealing with customer purchases and creating custom catalogs and advertising pieces for clients. In the fall of 2001 I was re-introduced to beads when my husband took a lampworking class at a local bead shop and I discovered the wide range of interesting beads and findings to create unique jewelry!! In April of 2002 Bead Lovers Korner was born. When I am not shipping packages or running the business, I design and make beaded jewelry and accessories. Most of these hand designed beaded items are unique and limited editions. I also have a collection of inspiring and unique beads, clasps and findings available for other jewelry designers. The website currently only has a small fraction of what I have available, but I am working hard to have everything available here.
