BDC health system strategy consultants include former health system and health plan executives, physician network and medical group executives, strategists, and physician leaders, as well as nationally renowned researchers and operations specialists. Alan is a Senior Consultant with six years of experience in the government healthcare practice at KPMG, a global management consulting firm. During his time at KPMG, Alan worked as a management consultant at several large federal agencies, modernizing and developing improvements to their financial systems as well as leading initiatives to drive transformative change.
Alan obtained his MBA from the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida, where he also served as a Graduate Assistant conducting research into MBA Engagement and Analytics. Alan previously graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia, with concentrations in Finance and Information Technology. Elizabeth Walker is a seasoned healthcare consultant and former hospital executive with a broad range of professional experience encompassing organizational strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and medical staff and ambulatory care development. Prior to joining BDC, Elizabeth was Director of Strategy and Network Development for Quorum Health Resources, a national hospital management and professional services company. At Quorum, she led the annual strategic planning for Quorum client hospitals in addition to network development and strategic affiliation efforts.
In light of the consolidation across all sectors, partnerships and mergers are creating new relationships and more integrated businesses. Elizabeth has facilitated healthcare merger and business integration efforts for a range of providers including community hospital systems, academic medical centers, multi-state regional providers, and national for-profit systems. Business Development and Strategic Planning
Over the two decades of Elizabeth’s career, she was a Senior Manager at ECG Management Consultants and a Senior Manager at Deloitte, advising regional and national health system boards and leadership on various provider and health plan deals to help organizations compete in the changing reimbursement environment. Prior to that, Elizabeth was as an Associate Director in strategic planning and operations work at Navigant and Ethos Partners, acquired by Navigant in 2010.
Elizabeth is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare executives and serves on the Board for the Indiana chapter, Indiana Healthcare Executives Network. She is also a Board member for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Elizabeth can be contacted at
