Years later he found himself living in the jungles of Costa Rica and was inspired to turn his dreams into reality. Shortly after he moved back to Florida he started his very own bamboo furniture company. Inspired to start his own company while living in Spanish speaking Central America, Don thought that bambú, the Spanish spelling of bamboo was fitting for his company name, hence the name, Bambú Tropical .
