Bally Wally™ was born out of necessity... At 42 years old, I am and always have been one of those people who like to push myself to the limits. Whether climbing Mount Rainier, racing motorcycles, or competing in triathalons, my body takes a good amount of punishment. In my search for new adventures, I accepted the challenge of my good friend Sean Bates to try CrossFit. After my first CrossFit workout I WAS ON FIRE! I think it took me a week to recover. Not that I wasn’t in decent shape; it’s just that I was doing movements that I was not used to and thought I was in good enough shape to keep up. NOT! I brought some prototypes to the CrossFit gym. Within a very short time, people were raving about them and wanted to know where to get them. Thus Bally Wally was born. And the name? It’s silly, it’s different, it’s not even a real word…but it sticks in your head. Bally Wally is hard to forget. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me!
