Mission Company Bio Baker Insurance was founded and started by Lyle Baker in the mid 1950’s and has been heavily involved in the local community since. In 1980 Lyle’s son Steve Baker took over the business and continued the legacy of excellent customer service and loyalty to the local community. Steve Baker graduated from Wilson High school and then went on to graduate from Portland State University. Steve Baker’s roots have been in Milwaukie/Portland area since 1921. Steve Baker continues his involvement in local community clubs still to this day being actively involved with the “SunRisers Kiwanis Club” and the “North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce”. His continued local presence has led to the trust and being recognized locally as a professional, honest and fair Insurance agent, which directly ties to a company surviving and prospering for more than 50 years.
