Bahia Honda Sporting Club, LLC is a distinguished non-membership fishing and hunting organization operating from two separate lodges tailored to offer year-round outdoor activities. Established by Gordon Baggett with notable contributions from Angela as the hostess/manager and Bill as the executive chef, alongside a proficient team of professional guides, the club caters exclusively to clients seeking exceptional fishing and hunting experiences in Florida. Initially launched as a fly-fishing lodge in the Florida Keys targeting tarpon and permit fishing primarily during April through July, Bahia Honda has expanded its seasonal activities. The Club enjoys autumn seasons dedicated to world-class redfishing in Mosquito Lagoon and partakes in Florida's alligator hunting season. To support diverse client interests, another lodge was secured, enhancing the club’s capability to offer specialized trips focused on either activity or a combined 'cast and blast' experience featuring daytime redfishing and nighttime alligator hunting. The Club offers flexible arrangements tailored to any duration and client preference. Visitors can choose between fly-fishing or spinning rods, with guides certified by FFF as fly-casting instructors available to aid novices and enthusiasts alike. The Bahia Honda Sporting Club prides itself on providing ease of access to prime hunting and fishing areas, opulent accommodations, superior service, and expertise in guiding. Operating out of dual locations, the club's focus shifts between tarpon fly-fishing in the Lower Florida Keys from May through June and alligator hunting in Central Florida’s marshlands during late August to October.
