Bach Construction was established in 1960 in San Francisco by Harry Bach. Harry began as a boat builder in Denmark and moved to Sweden where he earned his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Stockholm. In the early 1950s he moved to San Francisco, where he worked in construction, moving up the ranks to Superintendent for Cahill Construction before founding Bach Construction. Harry’s sons Peter and Hans Bach started their careers as carpenters, beginning with the apprenticeship program at Local 22 in San Francisco, and then earning their degrees in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. In 1991 they took over the day to day operations of the business, where they continue today. Bach Construction, Inc. is a family owned business that has been operating in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on our high standard of values and work ethic.
