Flying since 12 years old,  Travis is co-owner of Aviator PPG and full time instructor.  His wealth of aviation experience includes over 6 years flying paramotors, and  over 20 years serving as a United States Coast Guard Officer, Search and Rescue pilot and military flight instructor in HC-144 Ocean Sentry and the HU-25 Falcon jet. He holds FAA multi-engine Airline Transport Pilot and Commercial Flight Instructor certificates as well as many aircraft type ratings.  ​ Travis is meticulous in continuing to perfect our training curriculum and in ensuring our students needs are met both in the classroom and in the air. He works hard to help student’s dial in their understanding of every piece of information they might need for their paramotor flying experience.  Travis,  his wife and two young children made their home here in Lake Wales Florida in Jan 2015 for the sole purpose of of joining our team and furthering our efforts to build the premier training experience we offer.  and continues to help us integrate 24 years of developed teaching techniques to make learning easier, safer and faster.  It is an honor and privilege to have DuFour on the field with us, both while training students and refining our instructional techniques.    who combined have  60+ years of aviation & paramotoring experience and make it their mission to ensure you receive the best instruction available as well as the time of your life while always making your safety our top priority.   We utilize a robust proprietary training syllabus that exceeds USPPA training certification requirements, and have a consulting partnership with world-reknowned paramotoring expert and competition champion Eric DuFour, whom you will frequently find on our field assisting in training our students.   Our unsurpassed training program is conducted on-site at the Lake Wales Municipal Airport in year-round sunny central Florida,  where we are fortunate to have vast expanses of open free space to fly and ensure your safety during your beginner stages of paramotoring.   Our new (July 2016) on-site air conditioned airport training facility contains a state-of-the-art student classroom, motor simulator, lounge, maintenance shop, refreshments and a variety of top quality new and used paramotors, gliders, parts and equipment for sale and for FREE student use during their course of instruction.   We are Dedicated To Safety.  make good decisions about when, where and what equipment to fly.
