THE BEST! I have looked for YEARS to find such an honest mechanic in Orlando. They fixed the air conditioning in my husband's 2009 Honda Civic and explained how it worked so well I could practically teach a class on it now!! Did not try to up-sell me services I did not need and guaranteed their work. Go see them today!! I couldn't believe this place had 15 reviews all with 5 stars on Google Reviews so I had to go check it out. Turns out they do deserve an excellent review. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. I brought my truck in with a broken AC first thing in the morning and they called with an estimate within a couple of hours. They researched to found a part that was reasonably priced and a trusted brand. They called a couple hours later telling me the problem was fixed. If they provide the service you need, then you should come here. My faith in repair shops has been restored. My experience with this shop has been amazing from the 1st phone call. Joe took the time to listen closely to my problem and told me to give him a day to do some research and he would get back to me. He called later that same day to inform me that he was still researching my problem and he would call me tomorrow. When he called back he told me that I was the only one experiencing this issue and to bring it in because he was now intrigued. I dropped it off and gave him some time to figure it out. Once he figured it out, he called and explained in detail what the issue was and the steps he would take fix it and the charge. They value the customers and they know what they are doing. Our son is at UCF; 200 miles from us. When he called with car problems, we drove up there, since he needs the car to get to work as well as some classes. We called from the road, and Kurt was very friendly telling us to bring the car right in. Joe took the time to discuss possibilities & our situation. He's knowledgeable, helpful, prompt and reasonable. Car has run perfectly since. Joe at Autotech is an amazing mechanic. I had a severe stalling problem with my Honda Civic and 1 other mechanic and 2 honda dealers could not solve the problem. The last Honda dealer said I needed a new transmission. Joe solved the problem quickly (bad catalytic converter) and fixed some other problems that were causing a problem for the converter. Another time I was in Fort Myers and my cooling system was loosing coolant and a mechanic said I needed a new head gasket. I talked to Joe via the phone and when I was back in Orlando he quickly found a hairline leak in my radiator. Joe is extremely easy to talk to and is a gem! I've been to many repair shops but never had some one give me such detailed explanations for need to make repairs. These guys are knowledgeable and trustworthy and helped me make the right decision to repair my car. They really care. Good, honest mechanics! I know we're all always look for good, honest mechanics who won't rip us off! These guys are it! They really care about their customers and will give you an honest appraisal of what your vehicle needs without trying to overcharge you or get you to pay for service you don't need. Fast service too. Only prob is they aren't open very long hours, so if you have to work it's difficult to get in to see them. Regular vehicle maintenance improves fuel efficiency and produces less vehicle emissions. Help the environment and save a little money, have your car checked today! Good fuel economy, performance and low emissions are all effects of an efficiently-operating engine. Keep your engine running right!
