AUTOMEG After 15 years of traveling the country manually testing motor winding insulation resistance, Joe Horvath realized the need for an automatic insulation tester. In 1982 Joe teamed up with Jim Miller and together they created the world's first truly automatic insulation resistance tester and AUTOMEG, Inc.was born. In 1990 Ralph Chin was contracted to develop the Phasemeg. The company now holds three separate U.S. patents. In 2013 AUTOMEG, Inc. celebrates its 31st anniversary. The AUTOMEG electronics module is a compact and completely solid state 12 pin plug-in instrument that can be installed into new or existing control panels.
