Dr. Christy Alligood received an M.A. in Psychology from UNC-Wilmington and a Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Behavior Analysis from West Virginia University. Christy began working with young children with autism in 2000, and has worked with individuals with challenging behavior in home, school, and clinic settings. She has provided supervision in intensive practicum as well as in-agency formats, and also has experience with applications of behavior analysis to animal behavior and performance management. Christy is the president of the Southeastern Association for Behavior Analysis, and is the Special Interest Group Board Coordinator and a member of the Program Committee of the Association for Behavior Analysis International. Her research interests lie in the stimulus control of human and animal behavior.
Kristy Muir received an M.S. in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. Kristy has worked in Florida public schools for over five years, both as a classroom teacher and as a behavioral coach. She has served as a Response to Intervention-Behavior coordinator, created and presented training in applied behavior analysis to school personnel, and provided supervision for teachers in conducting functional assessments and designing behavior plans. Kristy also has extensive experience with applications of behavior analysis to animal behavior.
