Rose Traub was born in Hurleyville, New York and was raised in the Catskills Mountains. Growing up with large senior population made her well rounded and inversed in the needs of the elderly. After graduating College, she took a position in the technology business with Bellsouth Mobility, after a long career there she accepted a position for Hospice then Home Health as the community Liaison for the next ten years. Working with the community so closely, (including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and physician offices) opened her eyes to the needs of our seniors in our community and transitioned her into the role of senior care advisor and senior care placement specialist.
Rose was the primary caregiver for her own parents and in-laws, and became a licensed Nursing assistant to enable her to care for her loved ones better. She learned that care giving alone is a full-time job. With possessing a career, children, and a husband, time and time again she relied on her friends for emotional support as well as valuable information. Necessity drove her to learn the ins and outs of elder services, medical services, as well as hospice services. As she learned more, she began to see the need to share this knowledge with others in an effort to help people gain the direction they need in order to plan for the future.
Rose is also a certified Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator. She conducts two meetings a month with caregivers and others dealing with Alzheimer’s disease at two different locations in Volusia County. She shares resources and information from the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) with the group and provides an opportunity for those dealing with all types of dementia to share their concerns and offer support to each other.

Susan and her team of professional’s hope is that this resource would help many people or at least gives them the direction they need to go and the un-foreseen circumstances that may pop up so they can plan for it.
