AspirEDU’s Mission AspirEDU helps schools help more students graduate. We analyze the data that schools already have. This allows our solutions to identify students that are most at risk of dropping out of or failing courses, and to identify the best practices that instructors use to maximize the performance of their students. Retaining more students is good for schools and even better for the students themselves. Kim is the creator of Dropout Detective, Instructor Insight, and our custom report-building efforts. She founded AspirEDU because she needed a better, more automated way to identify at-risk students. Kim could not find such a solution on the market – so she built it. As a career educator and Director of Online Learning, Kim saw the benefits of using data to help schools find struggling students before it was too late to save them. She received her MBA from St. Leo University. Don turns great ideas into software and is responsible for the delivery of AspirEDU’s solutions. After obtaining a B.S. degree in Computer Information Sciences as well as an MBA from University of Florida, Don spent 14 years at IBM. He wrote code and managed projects, eventually moving to the account management team. Don has sat on the business advisory board for his local school district, allowing him to blend his technology background with his love of education. Chris is responsible for new business development and for managing AspirEDU’s industry partnerships. A graduate of Brown University with an economics degree, Chris spent the first 17 years of his career as a banker before moving into technology sales. Beginning in 2000, Chris took responsibility for selling enterprise technology solutions to Fortune 1000 financial services companies.
