About Ascent Medical Group Founder Dr. Steven Milstein After completing a three-year residency in anesthesiology at the world renowned Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, Dr. Milstein moved from New York City to Boca Raton, Florida, in 1993, to become part of a well established private anesthesia group. Dr. Milstein's clinical expertise flourished, earning him respect among patients and peers.
