As with many enterprises, ArtSource was founded on a need. Artists and photographers on the west coast of Florida lacked a local, high-quality scanning and fine art printing service -- a company that would provide not only access to the best, large-format equipment, but also in-depth technical skills and experience needed for the exacting color correction, scanning and many related programming and digital imaging tasks needed to produce custom work. The idea for ArtSource grew as we found many of our artist friends also needed help in presenting and promoting their artwork and prints, especially online. They also expressed the desire for a friendly place, staffed by knowledgable, art-focused people where they could easily and casually learn more and share information on issues large and small. Artist and photographer, Trulee Jameson, founded ArtSource Studio; she is our master printer and scanning specialist. Jamie Jameson specializes client services, marketing and fine art book publishing. ArtSource specializes in hi-rez scanning, restoration and creative enhancement of both film and digital images printed on archival canvas and fine art or photo papers at lower cost than many top national providers. Prints can be up to 64" wide and virtually any length. Custom finishes include professionally applied hand-brushed gloss and seamless matt.
