We are librarians, artists, and educators who are committed to teaching others how to connect art to literacy through programming. Our philosophy Art programming is easy, fun, and necessary for libraries as we explore our roles in an ever-evolving society. We are dedicated to training librarians in specific, proven techniques that will enable them to provide quality programming in their communities. We provide hands-on training that allows librarians to become comfortable with new skills before taking them back to their library and implementing innovative programs. Elizabeth McConney has been providing art programming at libraries and schools in around the first coast since 2002. With a BA in visual arts from New College of FL, Elizabeth is a studio artist who works by commission. She offers a popular weekly early literacy art class, a monthly teen art program and a weekly art program for school age children. She crafts amazing felt stories. She works with local schools to provide school age and tween literacy programming.
