Art Boundaries Unlimited fosters international exchange in the arts through it’s leadership team, participating artists and collaborative partnerships. This diverse collective is dedicated to furthering the organization’s mission, and serving as advocates for the development of art in both a local a global context. ABU’s Leadership Team is a diverse group of professionals with deep passion for the arts, and dedication for the mission of the organization. Art Boundaries Unlimited Founding Artist Art Boundaries Unlimited, Executive Director Hailing from the discipline of journalism and theatre arts, Candi has always been most fascinated by the art of storytelling. This theme is evident throughout her consulting style and overall personality. She’s interviewed authors, musicians and actors like Joe Manganiello (True Blood), and helped shape global projects at Singularity University (Graduate Studies Program Teaching Fellow, NASA Ames Research Park). She has worked with several theatre companies and arts groups including Arts Society of Kingston, New Moon Theatre Company, and the New Paradigm Theatre Company. Montego Bay born, she’s served on several international teams based in several countries including the Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, China and India. Candi is the news editor, and a regular host for International Womens’ Artist Salon Radio – which reaches over 35 countries. Through Art Boundaries Unlimited, she continues to expand her work across borders. Her focus in the United States is conjuring awareness for a variety of brands spanning targeted demographics from coast to coast. Candi holds a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in Theatre, Performance Arts from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and holds several other marketing certifications. Art Boundaries Unlimited, Vice President Art Boundaries Unlimited, Treasurer John R Diehl grew up in a small suburban community in northern Delaware. He holds Masters degrees in both Computer Science and Music Educatoion. He has spent the past ten years working on Wall Street developing real-time trading systems for large commercial banking firm. John is also a photographic artist. He has studied at the “I picked up my first 35mm camera in my twenties, and have rarely been without one since. As an artist, I am always looking for those perspectives and views of our world that go unnoticed by most, capturing the hidden beauty found in the everyday moment, the odd angle found when you tilt your head just so. I am fascinated by the myriad ways the camera can weave light, shadow and time into images of our world that we can only begin to imagine. The darkroom has found a new home inside my computer, where the dance still continues; sometimes literally. Painting images with light — where the entire world becomes my canvas — has opened up vast new realms of expression for me. I want my images to leap out of the frame: not to remind the viewer of those things missed, but to help us see and appreciate once again the beauty we knew was there all along. ”
