Reaching out to prospects required travel to the prospects location or meeting them at trade shows and conventions. This marketing effort grew my corporation from a small regional sales operation to selling internationally. Customers included five distribution centers, multiple DOD/ DLA contracts and hundreds of individual customers. Growth remained steady during the high and lows of the economy. During the downturns of the economy many businesses folded and yielded to corporate and personal bankruptcy. Using excellent planning and business discipline our corporation was never a statistic of these groups. How did you get started doing this type of work? When the decision to offer my expertise as a Business Marketing Consultant to new and established business owners was reached Ark Consultant Group Inc. was launched. The foundation is supported by many years of experience directing a successful corporation. Several recent clients were facing loss of income and were ready to venture out on their own. The decision to start a new business from scratch is always a huge financial and emotional challenge. By using today's technology and traditional techniques of marketing within six months both clients had a significant customer lists. After several years both businesses are in a better financial position and growing. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? The power of the internet to create business wealth is a known fact. Limiting business marketing plans to only web based marketing is not guaranteed.
