is a patented exterior coating system manufactured from 96% high-grade raw cork and a proprietary highly adhesive water-based acrylic resin. It has superior thermal and acoustic insulative properties, is UV resistant, and impervious to wind-driven rain while maintaining healthy water-vapor transmission. This unique combination allows for optimal protection of the substrate while permitting natural curing to occur. Naturally, cork is deterrent to insects, mold or mildew growth, fire retardant, and is a 100% renewable natural resource. Product Options Provide a superior sealing and protective coating for OSB, wall surfaces, concrete and masonry, roofs, traffic-bearing surfaces, pools, pavers, and other similar design elements. is UV resistant, permits water-vapor transmission while impervious to wind-driven rain, and maintains high elasticity and resistance to cracking, fading and peeling.  This unique combination allows for optimal protection of a variety of substrates.  Aesthetically, this finish coating system presents a consistent surface appearance, with superior adhesion directly to installation substrates. Unlike rigid coatings, it is highly resistant to surface cracking due to its characteristic of remaining pliable and expandable after curing has occurred. Due to its ability to permit water-vapor transmission, it resists bubbling, even in extreme weather conditions. Product Options (higher elasticity): Provides a sealing membrane resistant to outdoor elements. Used for waterproofing and protection of exterior or interior, vertical or horizontal, surfaces requiring complete sealing and waterproofing. Allows for moderate traffic. Seal Away contributes to suitable design projects. This “green” product has a low VOC content and is completely free of formaldehyde and similar potential toxins. “Seal Away” thus qualifies for LEED credits. LEED® 2009 for New Construction and Major Renovations points are potentially achievable for the following credits: Correct!  One of the amazing qualities of our product is the adhesion property.  It can be sprayed onto most any clean and stable surface.  An example would be existing stucco and as long as the stucco is clean and properly adhering to its substrate, ™ can be applied directly over it.  Doing this provides a superior surface with improved aesthetics, thermal insulation, impermeable to water penetration, and can even assist in curing many existing underlying moisture issues. Are all of your products really environmentally conscious?? The manufacturer, Kolmer Industries, has been hyper-aware of the environmental impact of their products.  As such, all of our products never contain solvents, are only water based, and utilize the highest grade of materials to achieve the best performance possible.  We use vegetable oils and other renewable natural resources.  ™ is sold through commercial applicators, construction and architectural firms, and our distributors.   Can Suber ™ help in LEED certification? Cork products contribute extremely favorably to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Rating System. Cork is a 100% sustainable and renewable natural resource. Building products are given points which contribute to the LEED rating of a finished building (exterior or interior). The individual building products are not LEED certified, its the finished structure or interior that is certified.
