David van den Berg – “just a guide” at that point – bought Ron’s business and immediately hired Ron as one of his star guides. Today, Ron continues to impress guests and guides alike with his love and knowledge of the arctic. In 2007 long-time guides Bill Mohrwinkel and Michael Wald joined in, and the diversity of skills and experience that these two bring to the business has won Arctic Wild praise for professional service, creative itineraries, and an impeccable safety record.
