Who We Are Arctic Palm Company evolved from a 5 acre tree farm called Forest Run, Inc., established in 1980. Our original farm was and still is located in eastern Manatee County, by Lake Manatee. In the late 1980’s we began designing and installing landscaping for one of the area’s top builder/developers at Perico Bay Club. As development moved inland to The Lakewood Ranch area, we began growing palm trees that would tolerate the colder winter temperatures. Thus, the name change to Arctic Palm Company. During our more than 35 years in the horticulture industry, we have worked with three of the top ten builders in Sarasota and Manatee Counties; as well as many other custom builders and developers. Over the years we have grown and currently have approximately 15 acres of cold tolerant palm trees in production. In 2010, we opened our 5 acre palm show area on State Road 70 in Lakewood Ranch offering palm trees directly to the public, as well as design build services, consulting and landscape lighting. We have designed and landscaped over 2,500 homes in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Most of our current work is performed at The Lake Club and The Concession and The Lakewood Ranch area. However, our service area includes all of Manatee and Sarasota counties. We look forward to continue helping Florida to grow, beautifully!
