About Arctic Air of Northern Florida Jason Lathrop, a native of Nassau County, Florida, practically grew up in the heating and air conditioning business, some might say he was born with a tool belt around his waist. He began his A/C career as a young boy, working alongside his grandfather and his Uncle Mike at the family business, Ed’s Appliance Repair. During high school he decided that air conditioning was going to be his career path choice. He began after school training to advance his knowledge. After graduation, Jason began full time employment doing installs, running duct work, commercial projects and more, learning as much as possible to be an expert in air condiitioning. Jason wanted to get a lifetime of experience under his belt! In 2013, he began Arctic Air of Northern Florida to provide the A/C comfort to his customers in NE Florida and SE Georgia, and he lives by his company’s slogan, “Your comfort is our concern!” We know it takes trust to allow contractors into your home or business, but it’s the only way for them to install or service your air conditioner or heating unit. After 7 years of struggling to find a quality oriented HVAC guy/company I can say Jason @ arctic air is the guy. He is/was all business when he diagnosed the issues we were having. There was no “up-sell”, no jerk around, “I think you may need this or may need that”. He looked at our unit, made a list, made a few phone calls for parts and gave me a date as to when it would be fixed. His crew showed up did an excellent job, were friendly, clean, and very responsive to any questions I had. I would and will recommend Jason to anyone needing HVAC work done. Super pleased with our results! This guy literally went up and down 6 flights of stairs to fix our air conditioner. Our elevator was broken and he didn’t even flinch. Love this company!
