After many hours using a microtome during his graduate work in neuroscience, Aquaro’s founder grew frustrated by the manual process of sectioning and mounting experimental samples and decided there had to be a better, less tedious way. Not willing to trust his own experience alone, follow-up interviews with many histotechnicians and histotechnologists warned of the challenges to be met, but also enthusiastically affirmed the vision.
Aquaro Histology Inc. is seeking smart, motivated, energetic, team-oriented individuals to assist with product sales and support. We are a startup company in Ann Arbor, MI developing, manufacturing and selling products & devices to streamline histology. We are releasing an automated section mounting device that, when paired with a microtome, automates the tissue sectioning and slide mounting process.
