Military Training International (formerly Military Training Technology) Top Simulation & Training Company 2006 through 2017 CMMI Level 3: Aptima has been appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® by P3I, Incorporated. CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The company’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time. We conduct our business in strict observation of regulations and laws, and we encourage honest open communication and sharing of information at all levels of the company. Opportunities at Aptima are open to all who are qualified. Hiring decisions are based on a careful evaluation of an individual’s potential contribution to our success. Everyone at Aptima has a valuable role to play. Aptima’s long term success is based on the quality of the work that we deliver to our customers. Human centered engineering is an emerging discipline and Aptima is a growing and changing company. For our continued success it is essential that employees at all levels and positions contribute their best ideas. Everyone at Aptima makes a contribution to our success, and those contributions are not identical. We value individual differences and want everyone to achieve to their own best potential. Effective teamwork is essential to our shared goal of Aptima’s success. We value and support the key elements of teamwork: developing trust, supportive behavior (monitoring and backup), information exchange and communication, initiative, and leadership. We honor our commitments to our customers and to each other. © 2018 Aptima Embodiments of methods and systems are described that provide methods for quantifying an entity’s reaction to one or more communication signals by quantifying a probabilistic relationship between the communication signal and a known relationship of an attribute to the communication signal. With this quantification, the entity’s reaction can be modeled as probability distributions that can be compared to the communication signal and known relationship. With this information, an entity’s reactions can be compared to an ideal algorithm that optimally integrates the known relationships and communication signals to arrive at an optimal reaction. By making this comparison between the entity’s reaction and an optimal reaction, a quantitative calibration measure can be determined. The meaning of the communication signals, or relationships to an attribute, may or may not be known and in embodiments the quantification of reactions can provide an ability to estimate an unknown attribute from the communication signals. Our Mission Aptima’s mission is to optimize the performance of humans operating in technology-intensive, mission critical settings including defense, intel, aviation, law enforcement, and healthcare. We apply deep expertise in how humans think, learn, and behave to the goal of advancing readiness. By combining measurement with learning data analytics and personalized adaptive training, our tools provide a successive cycle to measure, analyze, and improve human performance. The result is accelerated learning and enhanced human-machine teaming in preparation for the challenges that lie ahead—for individuals, teams, and the entire workforce. © 2018 Aptima © 2018 Aptima
