This free seminar is designed for current and future board members of condominium and homeowner associations, community association managers and community leaders. This course is certified by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes to meet the 2.0 continuing education credit hour requirement community association managers and the requirement for post-election training for newly elected board members. LISA ANSBACHER is the president and CEO of Ansbacher Education, LLC, a company that provides legal education and training to community association managers, association board members and community leaders. Prior to establishing Ansbacher Education, Lisa worked as a senior media relations specialist and medical writer at GolinHarris (PR Firm) in New York, NY. Lisa’s media placements include: BusinessWeek, Good Morning America, Forbes, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Reuters and National Public Radio. In addition to her work at Ansbacher Education, Lisa continues to provide media services to local and national clients. She recently represented a Florida consumer organization dedicated to protecting the rights of homeowners and other consumers of construction services. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Ithaca College and a master’s degree in psychology from The New School for Social Research.
2000, Ms. Ertl returned to Florida to be closer to her family. She began working with a law firm in Jacksonville assisting with its business and real property needs. From 2002 to 2005, Ms. Ertl
served as an adjunct professor at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, teaching Advanced Business Law, while also maintaining a full time legal practice. Over the last 10 years, she has been devoted to community association law, representing primarily homeowners and condominium associations. Ms. Ertl makes it a priority to devote time to her community and profession by serving on local not-for-profit boards whose missions serve the community, the legal profession, and the real estate/community association profession. Ms. Ertl serves as a member of the Executive Council of the Florida Bar Real Property and Probate Section.
